Weekly Storytimes
Join us for our seasonal weekly storytimes where your kids will enjoy being read to, singing songs and creating a story specific craft. Newborns through 4 year olds are invited to register in January, June and September.*
Elementary Explorers
Join us for our weekly program created just for kids in Kindergarten-2nd grade. Kids will explore new topics each week using books, crafts, science, technology and more. Programs are held on Monday or Thursday and we register three times a year in in January, June and September.*
Walk-In Storytimes
Held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, these storytimes include songs, stories and rhymes. For your children ages newborn to 3, come at 10:15 AM. The session for children ages 3-6 starts at 11:15AM. No need to register, just show up!*
3-6 Grade Arts & Craft Club
In this 45 minute to one hour session, your child will use their creative abilities to make fun projects such as Apple Sacks, Locker Pockets, Winter Wreaths, Valentine Cards and Umbrellas. This club meets once a month at 4:30PM. Check our calendar to find out what’s on the agenda for next month. Kids are invited to register one week in advance.*
Tween' Book Discussion
Kids in grades 4-6 will enjoy meeting with peers to discuss the book of the month. The group meets once a month in the evening. Kids get to keep the books after the discussion. Registration dates are noted in the calendar of events. *
Just For Guys Book Discussion
Guys, bring your dad, granddad, uncle, brother or cousin and join Mr. M. for an “only guys” book discussion. The discussions take place every other month in the evening and guys in grades 4-6 are invited to join the group. Kids get to keep the books after the discussion. Registration dates are noted in the calendar of events.*
Just For Gals Book Discussion
Gals, bring your mom, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin or friend and join Miss Kim for an “only gals ” book discussion. The discussions take place every other month in the evening and girls in grades 4-6 are invited to join the group. Kids get to keep the books after the discussion. Registration dates are noted in the calendar of events.*
Special Events
Every month, the library offers an array of exciting events for kids of all ages. This month, your child might enjoy silly songs with singer/guitarist Kurt Gallagher. Next month, your child might be learning yoga, dancing with Miss Jennifer in Dance-O-Rama or enjoying an outdoor storytime. Kids might even get a chance to meet their favorite author.
